Wondering if your game is cancelled due to inclement weather? During sports seasons, call the Weather Hotline above which is updated by 3:30 pm on days of possible cancellations. Note we cannot always update this website when unexpected weather occurs. If you have questions, please CALL YOUR COACH, as they have the up-to-the-minute information.

SPRING SOCCER Registration is OPEN

Online Soccer Registration is Open Registration for the Spring 2012 Recreational but Competitive Soccer season is OPEN! REGISTER online now!

We are pleased to partner with Triangle United Soccer Association who will be administering our program this season! Our registration process remains the same, as well as our general Spring Soccer program. Please see our SOCCER page for more information.

Holt IS:

Traditional - We were organized in 1964 to provide quality sports for the youth of Durham, Person and Orange Counties. (Note, although we share the name, Holt Athletic Association is NOT part of Holt Elementary School). Some of our players are third generation - their parents and grandparents played with us. Start your family tradition with us!

Non-Profit and 100% Volunteer - We are run by a board of volunteers. None of our positions are paid. All of our profits are re-invested to keep our sports programs state-of-the-art.

Competitive with 100% Participation - We differ from other "rec" programs, in that we keep score, we compete. But we are never, "select" - All children play at least (and usually MUCH more) 50% of all games regardless of experience or ability. We absolutely guarantee playing time and equality in instruction regardless of experience or ability. Everyone always makes a team. Children learn sportsmanship, teamwork and HEALTHY competition - how to win, how to lose. These are important life lessons outside of sports.

The Sole Owner of Our Facilities - We are unique in Northern Durham, as we OWN our fields off Rippling Stream Rd and our gym on Milton Road. We do not rent municipal facilities and we maintain our quality equipment. This means you always know where your child will play and we are not subject to some other school or organization's schedule.

A Stepping Stone to Your Child's Sports Career, or just a Really Great Experience! -Some of our players play on Middle or High School teams or for area Club teams (such as Triangle United) in addition to playing for Holt. Some of our players play just to have a great time but don't have aspirations beyond playing rec ball. Either way, you're going to have a great time with us and learn the game. Our area is diverse, our teams are diverse. for Holt is a 100% volunteer organization.
